Individuals who have experienced trauma are more effectively supported in an environment that fosters recovery, well-being and connection. This program will enable educators, providers, and corrections professionals who work with both adults and young adults to deliver resources and build skills in community integration, accountability, and conflict resolution. The day will be divided into two parts with the first combining informational talk and interactive exercises and the second facilitating restorative dialogue in groups with questions and activities for integration and application. Participants will be able to analyze the mindset and core philosophy of the restorative approach and demonstrate restorative practices for prevention, conflict, and as an alternative to expulsion or incarceration.
