The 48th Annual New England Summer School will take place at centrally located Worcester State University, Worcester, Mass., from June 5 to 8, 2017. Coursework has been designed for new addiction counselors, seasoned counselors, prevention specialists, recovery coaches, recovery organizers, criminal justice professionals, agency administrators, allied social service professionals, and all who encounter substance use disorders in their work.

This comprehensive program addresses the critical needs of professionals and their agencies: courses to work toward certification or licensure; courses to enhance skills to work in an integrated care environment; recovery-oriented care; current and emerging issues; and behavioral healthcare integration. A plenary series also rounds out the program, beginning with dynamic opening speaker Sheila Raye Charles.
